iPhrenzy: Cube Best Bet, Queues at Soho and Mepa

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

We're still on iPhone 3G watch this morning, but there's really nothing new to relay. People are still waiting for hours at the downtown stores, and the Cube seems to be successfully running it's voucher system uptown, eliminating lines. The report:

Apple Midtown
Line length: Voucher system has taken care of the line
Availability: Have all phones in stock
Color: "Right now, we're still giving out vouchers for 11am and noon."

Apple Soho
Line length: One to two hours
Availability: Fully stocked
Color: "Come on the early side" for vouchers, as "they do run out."

Apple Meatpacking
Line length: Four hours
Availability: Have all models in stock
Color: "Get here as early as possible" if you want a voucher.
