Our friends over at The Gowanus Lounge report that the owners of boutique chainlet Oak have shuttered their Park Slope location. The store had been struggling for some time; in February they ditched clothing and focused on shoes and accessories, but it seems the switchup didn't do the trick. A call to their Bond Street store confirms the closure (staffer, "It happened like a month ago."). Wonder what will open in that weird little President Street building next?
