UPPER WEST SIDE—This November, Uggs opens a shop in the former Rockport store on 65th Street and Columbus Avenue, thereby cashing in on the craze for Australian sheepskin boots just as it reaches its frenzied zenith...oh wait. If it's any consolation, an American Apparel is coming to what used to be a Sephora on 73rd and Broadway, so at least there will be no shortage of leggings with which to stuff one's shearling booties. UNION SQUARE—We hear that Rhyme and Reason, the card shop in Zeckendorf Towers on 14th Street and Irving Place, is going out of business. "Heard the owner say 'We lost our lease, due to a big increase in the rent.' They are having a 50% off sale," a tipster writes. [Racked Inbox]
