One of the major selling points of Whole Foods Tribeca that hasn't been discussed much is the bulk bins of spices, nuts, granola and the like that the store will offer. The Tribeca location will be the first in NYC to sell food in bulk, and they've got more than 100 items to choose from. There's a dizzying array of specialty salts and sugars—lavender salt looked intriguing, as did mint sugar—we also hear that in the future, they'll be offering organic dog food in bulk form.
