So color us confused: Last we heard, designer Yohji Yamamoto was planning to open a boutique on Greene Street for his collaboration with luggage and accessories label Mandarina Duck. Yet the signage in the window of 98 Greene is for Y-3, Yohji's sporty label with Adidas. Of course, the store was originally reported to be a Y-3 boutique, so perhaps WWD just got it wrong—or jumped the gun a bit. A spokesperson for Y's Mandarina told Racked that the Mandarina boutique is still happening, and will open in Soho, but that the location and opening date are under wraps for now. A staffer at the Y-3 store on Gansevoort said the Soho location is slated for a late August reveal.
