A reader informs us that it's not hard to get the friends and family discount at the John Varvatos sale, which ends today. "When I walked in the store I asked one of the employees what clothes were for the F&F sale and when they rang me up didn't even ask for an invitation. Apparently the first day of the sale, Tuesday, was a madhouse. There's a lot of stuff on sale, shoes still available in decent sizes, but shirts/pants favoring the larges and x-larges right now. I got a shirt, tie and pair of shoes for $200. Even if you can't get them to give you F&F, everything is still on sale 30-50%." [Racked Inbox]
