The front of the line in Midtown at 9AM this morning
For those still on the hunt for an iPhone 3G, there's good news and there's bad news. The good: the Fifth Avenue Apple store got a new shipment of the gadgets in yesterday. The bad: Meatpacking and Soho are still out of phones, putting all the pressure on the Cube.
Apple Midtown
Line length: "Hours and hours." Like three hours, or like five? "Closer to five than three."
Availability: After yesterday's shipment, still strong.
Color: The line seems to be longer than ever, stretching down 58th street almost to Madison Avenue. If the shortage was a marketing ploy by Apple, it worked.
