New York brands Sublet and Loyale both turn up on this list of eco-friendly white dresses (a popular topic today.) "Sublet employs fair labor practices locally (in New York City), ensuring personal involvement in every step of the production process. Mindful of their carbon footprint, the line's designers ride bikes and compost whenever possible." Loyale's line is also sweatshop-free. It's all very American Apparel, only more expensive and minus the lawsuits. [Sprig]
