It's still a few weeks away, but marketing gimmicks surrounding the start of the Beijing Olympics are beginning to surface. Opening Ceremony will stay open for 72 hours straight beginning August 8th, and Nike is planning on unveiling a brand-new store on the games' opening day. According to Highsnobiety, "It will be a dedicated, stand-along Nike Sportswear store and it seems like it is not a pop-up but a permanent store in Soho." The new 3,200-square-foot shop, rumored for over a year, will be located at 21 Mercer Street between Grand and Howard Streets.
