Form designer Jerry Tam, who was booted last night, talked to Crain's about how applying for the show might have hurt his reputation. "One industry contact already snubbed him, just for being associated with the show. A high-profile public relations firm that had been considering taking on Form as a client simply walked away from the deal when Mr. Tam announced he was joining the show." And this is before he got booted! Tam shouldn't worry too much, though. We asked the Williamsburg boutique Oak, which carries his line Form, if his short Project Runway stint had any effect on whether they'd keep him in stock. The response? Laughter, then: "No! His stuff is really good!" [Crain's]
