The situation at the Apple Store in Soho isn't good, and as at the Fifth Avenue location, it seems to be worsening as the day goes on. It's hot outside, the line is not moving, people are tired and unhappy, and inside the store, there are activation difficulties and other service issues. Things are so bad that one employee was just sent out to tell the last half of the line that the wait would be at least 2 1/2 hours to get in and buy a phone, and that perhaps they should leave, and come back later. He added, "we have a ton of phones..but I can't guarantee they'll be here later."
