Though we're still waiting on the "world-class retail collection" slated for the Plaza (Seize sur Vingt, Rachel Roy and a host of random others have signed leases at the landmark), one big draw is already open for business. Hairstyling geniuses Joel Warren and Edward Tricomi have unveiled their tri-level, 6,100-square-foot flagship salon inside the hotel; Vanity Fair took a look inside last week. The place sounds pretty amazing: stone walls, black granite floors, floor-to-ceiling mirrors, hair-washing stations where customers sit in "recliners with footrests" and pedicures done in Murano glass bowls. Cuts start at $160 and go up to $350—prices that aren't completely insane for this neck of the woods.
