Midtown fabric store M&J Trimming is encouraging ladies to dress like their favorite Sex and the City characters. Various ribbons, buttons, and a big floppy white flower are displayed on boards labeled Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda. "The placement of each of the boards was strategic/sad, because Carrie's was directly at eye level, whereas you'd have to crane your neck way up to find out how to use trimmings and notions to look like Miranda. No one actually wants to copy her style, right? Even though Samantha always had the least flattering and loud-colored clothes." [Fops and Dandies]
