Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
1) Pipeline: Brought to you by our friends over at Refinery29, Pipeline is fashion and style blog blessed with R29's informed and in-the-know approach. Recent posts include a CFDA party report from Band of Outsiders and a write-up on jewelry designer Adeline Cacheux's knotted rings. One smart feature we really like is the compendium of shots from various street style sites highlighting a certain recent trend (like this one on Liberty prints).
2) Madison Avenue Spy: In the grand tradition of anon blogging comes sale site Madison Avenue Spy. The Spy's diligent scribe is focused on finding the "best bang from my buck" at the city's most luxurious shopping destinations—Miu Miu, Chanel and Chloe were all recent stops—and in the process gives readers scoops on steals around the city. In a unique touch, the writer lists specific salespeople to contact about these deals, and the ones to avoid: Regarding a sale at Chloe, she writes, "Contact Paula 212-717-8220 (Avoid Incus, his attitude is colder than an arctic winter.)"
