Soon, it'll be time to say goodbye to the Times Square Virgin Megastore. According to Reuters, property owner Vornado will close the CD emporium in early 2009. "'We bought the Virgin business to wind it down to get a hold of the real estate,' [Vornado VP, moneybags Sandeep] Mathrani said. Virgin pays only a $54 per square foot when the market rent in the are is about $700, Mathrani said." [Reuters]
