According to the Times, it took a jury 10 hours of deliberation to decide that Equinox spinner Christopher Carter (pictured) was not guilty of assault charges against loud fellow spin class participant Stuart Sugarman. As you might recall, Sugarman annoyed Carter with his exclamations of "Good burn!" and "You go, girl!"—so much so that Carter picked up Sugarman's bike (with him on it) and basically threw it into a wall. "[Juror] B. J. Tormon, a 21-year-old nursing student whose thick biceps indicate that he has spent some time working out, said confrontations in exercise class were common. 'Stuff like that happens in the gym,' he said." [NY Times]
