Another antiques shop is done, as Parc Antiques and Gems at 22 Central Park South gives up the ghost for the sake of the Plaza Hotel's expansion plans. Parc, which has been dealing vintage chandeliers and furniture for almost thirty years, lost its lease and will close today to make way for a new condominium from the Plaza people. Whatever is left at Parc will be 50-70% off or more in these last few hours, so head on up while you can still say "oh, this old thing? I got it at the Plaza."
On the other end of the Plaza Hotel's spectrum is the newest Jimmy Choo print campaign, shot in the Plaza's opulent digs by Terry Richardson. Look for the flim-flam glam pages, Choo's largest campaign yet, in the August issues of Vogue, Harper's Bazaar and other similarly glossy rags.
