Patricia Field sure has a lot on her (sparkly pink) plate these days: Sex and the City: The Movie, her current shoe collaboration with Payless, a line for Marks & Spencer and even limited edition Diet Coke bottles. Now WWD reports that she'll be going the route of DvF and Scoop with a special on the Home Shopping Network.
Launching on September 23 and airing for a minimum of two hours for the following five days, Field's HSN collection ranges from $39-$199 and is "made up of 50 pieces ranging from sportswear and denim to dresses and accessories." They're even including the white-and-gold flower dress from Carrie's opening sequence in the SATC movie (with the huge flower as a removable pin). Of course the collection debut will be tied-in with New York Fashion Week, mounting a runway show and hyping a pre-order microsite.
Mark your calendars for September 23 then, as it will be the perfect evening for a Patricia Field/HSN drinking game: take one drink at every mention of Carrie or Mr. Big, swig half the glass when they suggest pairing anything with Manolos, and chug it all when they coo "oh it's so chic, so New York!"
