West Village: The recently-opened Coach Legacy boutique at 372-374 Bleecker Street has come up with a novel way of endearing itself to customers: give them free cupcakes. Magnolia cupcakes. A Racked informant writes: "Stopped in to browse and got caught up in a shoe sale. Apparently, with every purchase, you get a coupon for a free Magnolia cupcake. Who knew? I got sucked into two pairs of shoes, so this was actually the most expensive cupcake I've ever had." Those evil geniuses.
