Now Open: Cream Pours Onto Third Avenue

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Here we have Cream New York, a newcomer to the Upper East Side boutique scene. The store's focus is on high-end womenswear; racks are stocked with pieces from Tracey Feith, Ports 1961, Alessandro dell’Acqua, Antik Batik, Anna Sui, Miguelina and Graham & Spencer. The two-week-old shop hasn't received much press yet, but from the brands offered it seems perfectly suited for the neighborhood. Owner Raquel Trout found inspiration for Cream in a relaxing trip to St. Bart’s—something those UES ladies can certainly relate to.
