Soho: It's been common knowledge for quite some time that busy Japanese designer Yohji Yamamoto was planning to open a store at 98 Greene Street. Previous intel led us to believe that it would be another Y-3 outpost (his collaboration with Adidas), but in today's WWD we learn that the man has partnered with another brand, Italian luggage and accessory company Mandarina Duck. According to the article, it'll be the first US store for Mandarina Duck. No details yet on what the interior will look like, but given the speed with which Yamamoto has opened his last two stores, we won't have to wait too long for a peek inside. Right now, the opening is tentatively slated for "fall."
