Two commenters drop dispatches on Garment District sample sales Noir and Sample Sale Productions. The former seems seems to be a hit, the latter, not so much. On Noir: "Great selection of past seasons giant cocktail rings. Bracelet & cuffs only in one size—LARGE. 15-25 for the rings. Awesome since they retail at around 60." On Sample Sale Productions: "Went at 10:45AM, waiting in line for 45 minutes for "VINTAGE" aka used chanel bags circa early 90s and even some from the 80s. BUT AT 2006 prices! The classic caviar flap was 1900--um, not much of a sale since you can go to the sake presale and get a perforated classic flap for 1800. BAD BAD BAD!" [Racked Comments]
