According to an article in The Real Deal, a 13,200-square-foot Associated Supermarket will be opening in Columbus Village, the humongous development rising slowly between West 97th and 100th Streets. This is strange because grocery store superchain Whole Foods is supposed to be anchoring the development. We checked in with Whole Foods' PR, and were informed that the project is still a go, so it seems that the UWS is about to get a double-dose of grocery stores. Hope you're all hungry up there.
