C'N'C Costume National introduces their answer to the eco-tote: the first luxury Solar Energy Purse. In a video debuted on the C'N'C' blog, designer Ennio Capasa describes the small solar strips which will power mobile devices, and says of the piece: "I put a challenge into the project: to make Italian luxury contemporary." Taking a cue from the small, patchouli-scented successes of Voltaic Solar backpacks and Noon Solar messengers, Costume National may just be hitting on the next trend after eco-totes. Of course all this happens now that we've amassed just enough Envirosax and Feed Bags to carry our groceries home without ruining the environment. [C'N'C]
