The Jeneral Store, a 500-square-foot denim boutique that opened last June at 203 West 19th Street in Chelsea, is calling it quits this week. According to a Racked informant, all inventory (brands like Habitual and Serfontaine) is currently 70% off. Whatever they don't sell will be auctioned off later; the lease on the space will also be on the block. Apparently, the owners are closing the shop because they're moving to L.A., a city that certainly appreciates designer denim.
