WILLIAMSBURG—Berry Street vintage shop Adele-Twig has gone on to the great old-clothing pile in the sky. Their website is gone and their phone is disconnected, but this photo taken by Racked shooter Will Femia really confirms the shuttering. If a vintage boutique can't make it in Williamsburg... UPPER WEST SIDE—According to one Racked commenter, the Boc sample sale currently taking place on Columbus Avenue is a complete disappointment. "Went there Thursday around 6, no 'Vivienne Westwood, Alexander Wang, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Splendid and Sigerson Morrison' in sight. Three frazzled racks of lesser-brand clothing shoved into a pitiful alcove in the back, some jeans (mostly capri length), boxes of shoes, bins of underthings. Dresses $70, jeans/bottoms $50, tops and skirts $30. The Asian store people were kind of rude to sale shoppers. They didn't even allow you to use the dressing rooms for sale items! Conclusion: not worth the trek uptown." [Racked Comments]
