Reconnaissance at the Auto Yard Sale at 805 Washington Street in the MePa shows that the people have yielded to the call of SALE! Items are going fast, especially in the kids clothing and accessories section. The hefty discounts on Etro pillows, Skip Hop diaper bags, Paul Smith wallets and cufflinks, Missoni bedding, and Graphic Image journals and jewelry cases make it worth a gander, but don't expect any leftover Marimekko. Most interesting item: a huge vintage circus sign featuring the "5-legged sheep" on sale for $375.
Note: You can only enter the backyard sale through the Auto store at 805 Washington. Their annex next door at 803 Washington only has a few sale jewelry items.
