Something very preppy is about to happen in Tribeca: The former home of the Liquor Store bar at 235 West Broadway is beginning to show evidence of new tenant J.Crew. This cheeky signage is the first indicator of the space's transformation into a men's-focused clothing boutique, the brand's first. It's only a temporary store (though it's unknown how long, exactly, it'll be up), but CEO Mickey Drexler is planning on opening others throughout the city. Want a peek inside before the shop opens on May 1st? The Cut sneaked in a few weeks back and managed to snap a few shots of the beautiful interior, though we're sure it'll look even more glorious when filled with flat-front pants and cashmere crewneck sweaters.
