After checking in on Bowery's Blue and Cream and upcoming John Varvatos store yesterday, we might as well make it a hat trick for the bustling downtown boulevard. We peeked inside the Think Coffee at Bowery and Bleecker Street yesterday afternoon, and were pleased to see that construction there continues to hum along. The indie java house looks a ways away from the "March opening" they initially spoke of, but work has been steady, and we're pretty sure they can pull it off by the end of the month. (We spied their new barista counter in place at the back right corner of the store this morning.) Can you tell we're excited for their Spanish Lattes and superior music selections to hit the Bowery? We just hope they leave the smug counter help at their Mercer Street coffee headquarters.
Barista counter, far right
