UPPER EAST SIDE—A tipster sends word of mysterious goings on in the retail spaces at 80th Street and Third Avenue (pictured above). Apparently, the building's landlord is cleaning house. "All the commercial tenants have till the end of March to get out, except for Murray's, the jeweler. The Source, a general store on the corner, sells over the counter drugs, kids toys, arts and crafts, etc. is being pushed out after 28 years of being a great neighborhood store. The store cat has a new home. Can we be looking at a Duane Reade? Yuk!!!" [RackedWire Inbox]

MIDTOWN EAST—The Pierre Hardy for Gap watch has begun. From a Racked commenter: "pierre hardy shoes for gap were spotted tuesday at the lexington ave. gap near bloomingdales. saw the platform sandals and the silver gladiator flats." OMG OMG. [Racked Comments]
