Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
Maury Povich no longer has the corner on paternity testing. According to a press release that just landed in the Racked Inbox, Rite Aid will now be selling over-the-counter DNA paternity test kits at stores across the country. Don't get too excited, though: Self-ordered tests are not legal in the state of New York, so your local Rite Aid won't be carrying them any time soon. [Racked Inbox]
