This week, model Veronica Webb is guest blogging at the excellent Times fashion blog The Moment. It's a fluffy affair: She regales us with light observations on everything from Gossip Girl to the Spitzer mess, and also mentions a few of her favorite shops. Webb kicks her posting off by questioning "What really killed glamour?", then heads off to her favorite stores to find out. She proclaims Jeff Staple's Reed Space (pictured) as the "be all and end all on the LES", and continues to Barney's for discussion of Louboutins with a sales associate, who pegs glamour as "the pheromone part of sex."
Veronica's week only gets juicier, with an imagined Ashley Alexandra Dupré makeover and marriage advice straight from VW's own forays in Brazilian capeoria: "it doesn't hurt to wear low riders at home as a tool to keep the marriage hot." But before you imagine Ms. Webb in booty shorts, she wants you to remember that she's a busy mom who shops at Tribeca children's boutique Bu and the Duck and encourages "get[ing] the kids into retail therapy, you'll save them some time when they get older." Today's installment of her blogging ends the week run, but will bring us one more personal playlist and hopefully more gems like Wednesday's nod to the $17 Jacques Torres Chocolate Easter Bunny.
