RED HOOK—Denise Carbonell, long a LES retail presence until she sold her Stanton Street storefront in July, is about to unveil her new boutique in Red Hook. According to Brownstoner, Metal and Thread, opening next Saturday on Van Brunt, "will carry a variety of local, handmade work, including textiles, metalwork, furniture, jewelry and woodwork."
