Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

RED HOOK—As you can kind of see in this photo, the cranes at the Ikea Red Hook site are being dismantled as we speak. Does this mean that large-scale construction work is finished? Someone with crane knowledge, please, pipe up. [RackedWire Inbox]

LONG ISLAND CITY—A Racked tipster reports that movement of some sort is afoot in the Amish Market on Center Boulevard. You may recall that the grocery store, which was supposed to begin feeding hungry LIC residents last month, will not be opening until May (or later, seeing how things have been going over there). "The site of the Amish Market is now moving a long—trucks pop in occasionally, and now there's paper covering the windows, so in theory, something's going on..." Um, promising? [RackedWire Inbox]
