Williamsburg, a neighborhood once notable for its complete and utter lack of workout centers, will soon be getting a 24/7 fitness club. Anytime Fitness, a chain with more than 600 of locations across the US, is planting its first NYC outpost at 98 South 4th Street between Bedford and Berry. Though an Anytime Fitness rep couldn't say when the gym would open, they did inform us that construction has begun, meaning it's only a matter of time 'til they power up the ellipticals and stair climbers. The Williamsburg branch will "focus on personal training" and will feature some "very unusual classes" alongside your garden-variety programs. Get ready to sweat!
