Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to Vox.com, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.
If you want to get your hands on $5 Gorillaz toys or $2 Sam the Pirates, get over to the Kidrobot Pirate Store. The scene there at present is somewhat of a madhouse, with shoppers digging through bins of $15 t-shirts and browsing racks of $50 hoodies. Sadly, we didn't spot one Munny or Dunny, and the toy selection is limited. There is a lot of brightly-colored clothing, however. Given the group that showed up this morning, it's probably best to plan your shopping trip before the kids get out of school this afternoon.
