Wilsons Leather is really, really struggling. According to WSJ, the chain's going to close "as many as 160 mall stores and cut 1,000 jobs, including 64 at headquarters, while converting its 100 remaining mall locations to a new 'Studio' concept." That means the Wilsons Leather at the Kings Plaza mall is kaput! The salesperson who answered the phone there stated that the store will be closing in a few weeks, so go now if you really need a heavy leather car coat or just like inhaling the scent of processed animal hide.
