Broadway is losing one of its most striking storefronts as D. Barton Kyner Antiques heads to the great curio cabinet in the sky. The 3,100-square foot space at 827 Broadway has been on the market for almost a year, but it looks as though Kyner is in its death throes; they've got 60% off everything in the store.
Frankly, we're surprised they've lasted so long as close as they are to NYU. Of course they do have that fabulously dramatic revolving door entrance, but otherwise their days have been numbered for some time. Let the speculation on a new tenant begin, as the realty is asking asking $65K a month in rent.
