According to a release that just landed in the Racked Inbox, a generous, anonymous benefactor has donated nearly 500 vintage Yves Saint Laurent pieces to thrift chain Housing Works. And instead of auctioning it off, Housing Works is putting the clothing (priced at $45 to $250) out for sale during a free, open-to-the-public cocktail party. A few of the offerings are galleried above with pricing; the event will take place at their store at 157 East 23rd Street on December 11th from 6 to 9pm.
