A top-level Racked informant files from both the Elizabeth and James and Brian Reyes sales in Gramercy, writing: "I just got back to work from the Brian Reyes and Elizabeth and James sample sales. Brian Reyes is supposedly an extra 20% off the sample sale prices (although there are no signs indicating so on the price lists). Unfortunately, the discount did nothing for me as I left empty handed. Not much of a selection, and the fit of the clothes is tricky (I overheard a sales girl trying to convince a woman of how easy the tailoring would be). Elizabeth and James was pretty good. Nice selection – tees, tunics, pants, blazers, but some prices are still not recession friendly. Hope Savvy makes a price reduction! LaRok was just okay – nothing to write about." [Racked Inbox]
