Curbed Cup

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Today's the second day of everyone's favorite 16 seed elimination challenge: the annual Curbed Cup. For those new to the game, Curbed is pitting 16 microneighborhoods against each other in an effort to find the 2008 Neighborhood of the Year. Winner gets fame, glory and a big fake gold trophy. Yesterday we voted on two important play-ins, and today the real deal voting commences. The first microhoods up to bat: High Line District vs. Hudson Square and Madison Square Park vs Grand Street Environ in Williamsburg. Go forth and vote. [Curbed]
