Irony: The same day New York magazine dubs Ditmas Park "the new San Francisco," one of the South Brooklyn neighborhood's more established retail highlights announces that it's closing. Trailer Park, which specializes in handmade Amish furniture, will shutter its outpost on 1211 Cortelyou Road at the end of January. Until then, everything is 25% off. Their Park Slope location will remain open, but we still can't help thinking this wouldn't have happened in the real San Francisco.
