When people fret about kids today and the terrible messages we're sending them, they like to bring up Saks Fifth Avenue's tween girl trap Club Libby Lu. The store offers parties where girls can shop and get makeovers, which sounds fun if you're eight but disturbing if you're old enough to be bothered by the sight of an eight-year-old wearing more makeup than the entire cast of Gossip Girl combined. Well, parents, worry no more: Saks is shuttering all of its Libby Lus nationwide, meaning small girls will have to find another place to learn about lip plumper. [WWD]
