Fried Circuits

Racked is no longer publishing. Thank you to everyone who read our work over the years. The archives will remain available here; for new stories, head over to, where our staff is covering consumer culture for The Goods by Vox. You can also see what we’re up to by signing up here.

Consumerist, the blog that broke the news that Circuit City would be closing 155 stores across the country, now has a list of the locations that will be shuttered. NYC will lose three Circuit City outposts: 1750 East Gunhill Road in the Bronx, 1610 Flatbush Avenue in Brooklyn, and 232 East 86th Street in Manhattan. [Consumerist; Previously]
