NEW YORK CITY—As an antidote to Black Friday, Housing Works is staging White Saturday at all seven of its stores. From 11am to 7pm, they'll be serving free hot chocolate and cookies to shoppers (soothing!) and selling steeply discounted furniture and designer clothing, none of which has been out on their floor before. That Valentino dress above, in case you're wondering, is $130. [Housing Works]

CHELSEA—Next Monday, Gen Art holds its biannual SHOP NYC event at the Metropolitan Pavilion at 125 West 18th Street. From 5pm to 8 pm, shop racks from over sixty young designers (among them Devotte, Yumi Kim, and Hayden-Harnett). Everything is up to 70% off and the drinks are free, so get ready to do some damage. To buy tickets, go to the Gen Art site or call 212.255.7300—it's $40 to get into the pre-sale from 5pm to 6pm, and $15 to get in after that. [Gen Art]

MIDTOWN EAST—Starting this Friday and continuing through the weekend, Juicy Couture will give you 20% off new clothes if you bring you old Juicy items to their store at 860 Madison Avenue. They'll donate the used goods to a local women's shelter, meaning some good will finally come from those velour sweatsuits.[Racked Inbox]
