Retail may be sitting empty around the city, but the corner at Washington and Little West 12th Streets in the Meatpacking has never done so well for itself. Within the next few months, it will welcome the city's second Tory Burch store and French import Zadig & Voltaire. Occupying the primo corner spot and adding to the MePa shopping saturation will be the LA-based line Vince.
After opening their first two stores earlier this year in LA and with the decision for the brand to expand into accessories, swimwear and shoes, Vince is naturally seeking a little east coast elbow room. Although we're used to seeing their stuff constantly on the sale racks at Intermix, there's no doubt this new boutique will flourish will the opening of the neighboring Standard Hotel and the eventual completion of the MePa Barneys.
