Like pretty much everyone else, we're taken with the story of Maria Conde, the 26-year-old who chased down the guys who'd mugged her on the subway and wrestled her purse back. PR maven Kelly Cutrone and some other NYC fashion types were apparently so taken that they arranged a little gift package for her: Two Longchamp bags, some bracelets, a day at a spa, and "dinner for two at the Soho Grand Hotel." This might make Conde the only purse-snatching victim who wound up with more bags than when she started. [NYP]
