Among the slew of sales happening these next few days, there's the Anya Hindmarch sample sale currently marking down everything from luxe bags to sparkly shoes to printed caftans at their showroom in the Meatpacking District. We dropped by to survey the goods, and happily everything is a massive deal for those with some extra cash for Christmas gifts (or themselves). Sample shoes are $50 per pair and if you buy two, pick another for free. Also, buy any two pairs of shoes and get an additional 10% off of a bag (with bags averaging $400). We love multiple deals; it's a true incentive in these times.

As far as gifty items, pick from shiny leather passport covers, portfolios, wallets and cosmetic bags or stock up for next summer on clear vinyl totes and woven clutches. If you really need an excuse, think of the Anya bags at Target; add $250 or so to what would be the cost of one of those PVC totes, and you have yourself the real thing in supple leather.
