Providenza Owner: The Store Is Still Open

This past weekend, a rumor cropped up in our comments section about Providenza, the just-opened Williamsburg boutique from the owner of Arcangela, who was also the shoe buyer at Ylli. According to the commenter, the store had closed and wasn't paying vendors. Last night, we heard back from Providenza. "We are at this time still located at 48 N.6th St. in Brooklyn," wrote the owner. Also:

As per the comment left regarding our refusal to return consigned merchandise, we would never knowingly do this and are investigating the comment to find out why this accusation was made.
