The publicist for California-based label Mike & Chris has emailed over an official statement in response to rumors that the company would be shutting down and anger over the brand's abruptly-canceled sample sale. In short, she asserts that the company is "very much in business" and that the sale was canceled due to a "shipping error." We've added the entire note to our original post on the matter.
